Day 1: Arrive and transfer to Sheraton Kampala Hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 2: Depart for Kibale Forest via Mubende for a lunch stop over. Proceed to Ndali lodge arriving in the evening.
Day 3: Full day in Kibale forest, apart from its amazing birding, its home to an astonishing 12 species of primate and provides one of the highest primate densities in the world. On a guided forest walk, families of chimps and red colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees are a common site. And the birdlife is no less impressive – there are at least 335 species, and over 144 species of butterfly.
Day 4: After an early morning walk in the Magombe swamp, drive to Queen Eliszabeth National park for birding around Lake George and the Mweya Peninsula. Lunch at the lodge and take a launch trip on Kazinga Channel. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari lodge.
Day 5: Early morning game drive return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the day can be spent at the pool side. Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon,
visit to the crater lakes with a possibility of seeing flamingoes. Over night at the lodge.
Day 6:. An early start for the drive to Ishasha through the Maramagambo-Kigezi area lunch on the way and arrive at lshasha for a late
evening walk. Dinner and over night at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Day 7: After an early morning game drive, with a chance of seeing the rare tree-climbing lions, travel to Bwindi impenetrable National park - a treasure chest of flora and fauna and the richest forest in East Africa. Home to the rare Mountain Gorilla. Brief evening birding, dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge or Silverback Lodge.
Day 8: Full day birding in the forest.
Day 9: Full day tour to Ruhija and the Mubwindi Swamp, returning to the camp in the evening.
Day 10: Leave after breakfast and drive to L. Mburo National park lunch on the way while dinner and overnight is at Mantana Tented camp. Here, the park’s lovely landscape is complemented by Lake Mburo itself and four smaller lakes, beautiful and tranquil surroundings where you will see impala, eland, klipspringer, waterbuck, zebra and buffalo.
Day 11: Full day birding at Lake Mburo. After a picnic lunch, take a canoe trip in the afternoon to seekingfisher, heron and other water birds, your guide will keep you a safe distance from the hippos and crocodiles!
Day 12: Morning at leisure and afternoon return to Kampala for a brief city tour and shopping. Later in the evening, transfer to Entebbe airport for flight connections.
